Ship, ahoy! I'm here again with a new minialbum. This tiny treasure can hide 24 photos, decorated with real shells, and it is full with interactive elements.
Már régóta szerettem volna egy albumot csinálni a felhalmozott tengerész stílusú papírjaimból. Van közte régi ILS Marine kollekció (emlékszik még rá valaki? 2012-es...), maradékok egy régi Rayheres készletből (például a cím az albumborítón), és a vadonatúj Mintay Marine és Piatek Off Shore kivágatok. Beletúrtam a dobozaimba, és találtam ezeket a fa díszítőelemeket (palackposta, tengeri csillag, iránytű), és azt kell hogy mondjam,igazán szuperül passzolnak a papírokhoz.
I have long been planning to make an album from my old sailor-style stash. I've found old ILS Marine papers among them (is someone remembering? From 2012... haha...), old leftovers from a collection from Rayher (the title on the cover, for example) and I used my brand new Mintay and Piatek cutouts. Then I dug into my boxes and found these wooden embellishments (bottle, starfish, compass) and I have to say, they match perfectly to the papers.
Gazdagon díszítettem a borítót és az album oldalait, főként mixed media technikákat használva. Imádom ezeket a fityegőket a gerincen, főleg a mini palackpostát.
I decorated the cover and the inner pages mostly with mixed media techniques. Loooove these dangles on the spine, especially the mini bottle with the message.
Ezzel az alkotásommal szeretnék nevezni a More Than Words challenge blog ehavi kihívására, melynek témája DISCOVER, a kreatív kihívás pedig OLD STASH. A téma adja magát, hiszen felfedezni a tengert és utazni mindig jó, és nyaralós fotók kerülnek majd az albumba. A régi cuccaim felhasználása pedig elégedettséggel töltött el. Mutatok pár közeli képet is az album belsejéről.
I want to participate on the More Than Words July challenge with this album. The theme is DISCOVER - we'll go to discover the sea soon, and it is soooo good, I will put pictures from the journey into the album. And I used up a lot of my OLD STASH while digging my boxes, and it makes me satisfied. I show some close-ups inside.
